I’m looking at a used tacoma 4cy with 130k on a manual trans and i’ve heard that there are some issues.
Make sure the truck is closely inspected by a good mechanic before you buy it. In addition to engine problems the frames on these trucks all the way up to 2004 have a tendency to rust. The rust is so bad that most of the frames need to be replaced. Let the buyer beware!
Thanks, truck came out of Utah and now in Idaho so wasn’t thinking rust but the new top end and other stuff is turning me off as well.
