Looking for a reputable national company that rebuilds and sales transmissions to the DIY. I am ASE tech and do everything else other than rebuild transmissions. I have retired from the bussiness of fixing everyone else care, but still love and prefer to fix our vehicles if possible. So now the wife’s Rav4 has 187,000, and the fibers from the clutches are evident in the fluid. Transmission is still shifting good, but I like being prepared than sorry when it quits. .I have checked with Jasper Engine/Transmisssion and no go…One other company Transmission Planet is high retail (1200.00 to 1400.00) and does not need or want the core. Any help is greatly Thanked in advance.
