I’m the lucky, 3rd owner of a very high mileage 528i. I say lucky because both previous owners babyed the car and kept invoices for every bit of work ever done on the car(its a very thick file); now for the question. If I turn the car off while using the windshield wipers they just stop whereever they happen to be instead of moving to the bottom of the windshield, is this normal behavior?
I don’t know about the Beamer, but my Toyota does not park the wipers if I just turn it off.
Yep, sounds normal to me.
Perfectly normal…in fact…I don’t know of any vehicle that will park the wipers if you just shut off the vehicle.
