I just inherited a hand-me-down '99 protege. This week, the low-beams stopped functioning simultaneously, the high beams still work. From my initial searches, it seems it’s a fairly common issue with this era of Mazda: the headlamp switch/relay has most likely burned out. I am confident in my ability to (purchase and …) replace the part, but I received no manual with the vehicle, so I have no clue which switch is which switch. I have found several scans of the fuse placement online, but I cant track down the reference chart for the underhood relays … does anyone possess this knowledge? thank you in advance.
