1999 Dakota loses power, engine runs extremely rough sometimes stalls.
Have replaves spark plug wires, rotor, cap, etc. Problem occurs every few months or weeks - no pattern.
My mechanic thinks it may be the fuel pump but cannot guarantee that it is so we haven’t made the investment in that part yet.
I’d bet it is the fuel pump.
Not what I hoped to hear.
