How do I know actual odometer reading on a car one number reads over 334000 and other number reads 228832
Is that lower number the trip ometer ? Is this a vehicle you are thinking of buying ?

I’m going to guess one of those numbers has a decimal point in it.
33400.0
or
22883.2
The one without the decimal point would be the actual mileage.
If neither one has a decimal point, push and hold the trip reset button for a couple of seconds to reset it to 00000.0
You might have to try it on both numbers, don’t worry about it resetting the original miles it won’t let you.
Which ever one doesn’t reset to zeros, is the actual mileage.
