I am getting a rattling noise from what seems to be my front driver’s side tire. It doesn’t happen the whole time I am driving and will typically stop for a short period if I apply pressure to the brakes.
Could this be a loose brake pad? Or something else?

Did you really expect that a 24 year old car with 2,000,000 miles to not rattle from somewhere at some point.
Could be worn struts or sway bar linkage, could be any number of things. Your best bet is to have it looked at by an actual mechanic with hands on the car.
