I am wanting the replace the bulbs in my 1997 Corolla CE instrument cluster. I am having a problem removing the plastic trim ring or bezel. I have removed the two screws at the top, but it will not pull out easily. I am afraid it will break if I pull any harder. Is it screwed in from below? What’s the secret to removing the bezel?
There are also two clips that hold the bezel on the bottom. Pry on the bottom of the bezel with a butter knife to pop these clips out.
