1997 Z71 Truck sat for 2 days. Will crank but not turn over. Sometimes it backfires but still won’t turn over. New problem.

Will it briefly run with a blast of ether . . . ?

Found out the New Battery was not working properly and had to
replace it. Thanks for the help
