Im thinking about buying this vehicle for $1000 with 173k miles on it. I just wanted to know what should I look out for when it comes to inspecting the vehicle myself, I’m buying it off a private owner. I just wanted any advice available
For a 1000.00 dollar vehicle I would just make sure the steering was tight , the brakes worked like they should , the transmission shifted as it should and if it runs for more than 6 months buy a lottery ticket . Because you will have beat the odds on this 24 year old vehicle . Also I would inspect the tire for cracks on the side walls and if there any just get cheap tires from Wally World.
