1996 Corvette with 49000 miles has AC problem. AC switches back and forth from cooling to heating on its own. Mechanics have not been able to determine cause. Suggestions?
Find better mechanics. Specifically ones that specialize in AC work.
Since you didn’t tell me much about your Vette that would be of use, I will make a guess. If you have electronic climate control, the module that controls it is likely failing.
