1995 Pontiac Grand Am

Keep getting a floor full of water. Had heater core checked…works fine. Seems to have water whether it’s raining out or not. Can’t figure out where else the water could be coming from.

Do you use your AC?

Your AC system has a drain tube from the evaporator that allows condensation that accumulates on its coils to drain away. If this drain is plugged, the condensation can accumulate on your passenger floor.

Thanks for the post…the problem started when it was still winter, and living here in Michigan I’m sure the a/c wasn’t being used. Thanks for the suggestion.

You do realize that when the ventilation system in your vehicle is set to defrost, the AC system automatically comes on. Did you use the defrost in the winter?

Check for a plugged condensation drain tube for the AC system.
