1995 Dodge Caravan won't start

My problem is with a 1995 Dodge Caravan with a 3.3 liter V6. When I try to start it when it’s cold, first thing in the morning, the engin cranks but will not start. After the car sits in the hot sun for about four hours, it will then start and runs fine. Next morning it does the same thing. Thanks for any help on this.

Are the spark plugs and wires nearly new? To see if it’s a lack of fuel, get a spray can of Starting Fluid from an auto parts store. Pull a small hose from the big, black, plastic air intake tube, and spray a two second burst into the hose. Attempt to start. If it starts, tell you mechanic. Have the engine coolant temperature checked, and the fuel system checked. Check for strength of spark, too.
