I HAVE A 1994 CIVIC (PLAINJANE NO A/C, P/W, P/L) IT RAN OUT OF GAS THE OTHER DAY, PUT IN 3 GALS. BUT NOW IT WON’T START. IT WILL CRANK OVER LIKE IT WANTS TO BUT WON’T. WHATS MY PROBLEM?
If the fuel pump was marginal, running it out of gas may have killed it. Do you hear the fuel pump humming when you turn the key to the “Run” position but without turning to “Start”? The pump should run for a few seconds.
