I replaced the rear brake lines on my 1994 Plymouth Voyager. Haynes manual says I need a DRB-II scan tool to correctly bleed them.
Do I really need this and if I managed to buy one relatively cheap could I perform this myself?
You can put in your bid for this DRB-II scan tool: http://cgi.ebay.com/ebaymotors/_Automotive-Tools__Set-of-2-Chrysler-DRB-II-Diagnostic-Scan-Tool-Access_W0QQitemZ270296196900QQadnZAutomotiveQ20ToolsQQadiZ2871QQcmdZViewItem?hash=item270296196900&_trkparms=39%3A1|65%3A1|240%3A1318&_trksid=p4506.c0.m245
You could try a standard brake bleed procedure,if you can’t get a good pedal you may have to go to plan B.
I saw that exact item when searching.
