The back gate of my blazer won’t open, nor will my window close. It seems like the lock won’t unlock. But Other than that, I’m stumped. 
Have you removed the latch access panel on the tail gate?
How do I get to it if it won’t open? Am I able to crawl in through the back and do it?
If the window won’t close reach through.
I’m going to be honest with you, I’m so car retarded I wouldn’t know what the access panel is.
Rod, I figured out what was stopping everything from working. the lock got stuck in the locked position. But thank you for your help.
Glad you got it open. You might remove that access panel now and inspect and lubricate the hardware.
