I got a 1994 Honda Accord with 356,000 miles and when i turn on the heat it blows cool air and never gets hott! I installed a new thermostat and it is full of antifreeze! Any help would be greatly appreciated! Thanks
356K miles? Wow! That’s fantastic, and since I own a similar vehicle it gives me hope mine will last that long.
When the engine is at normal operating temperature, feel the hoses going to and from the heater core. They should both be hot. If they’re not there’s a blockage in the heater core.
If the hoses are both hot the problem is inside the car, in the HVAC system. A faulty blend door actuator (the blend door regulates temperature inside the car) might be the problem.
