The engine light comes on once I am driving . It’s not it’s on when I start the car.

You have a couple of choices . 1. If you are in the US most Auto Zone stores will read the codes ( if they have not suspended that because of the virus ) . 2. Have an independent shop look at your vehicle because there are many things that turn on the check engine light.
