the saturn sl model was shutting down at times, then would start later, then it completly quit,I was told it could be the crank position sensor, behind the starter as it explained on vidios ,any1 familure with this crank sensor problem?[1993 saturn sl2,twin cam motor]
did you get a check engine light with a code for the crank sensor?
many things could cause your problem.
I can’t tell you how many crank sensors I have replaced over the years on Saturns.
Some owners of these cars would have to replace their crank sensors yearly.
Some got so use to these failing that as soon as they were experience the same problems and call and just say, It’s time to replace the crank sensor again!".
And since your vehicle is an OBDI vehicle, there are no codes for a failed crank sensor.
