So I exited this link a couple weeks ago, but popping back on to let ya’all know it was the EEC.

we did professionally flush the fuel injectors but that did not stop the issues.

Replacing the EEC did, and whil I have not driven far, I have accelerated onto the state highway smoothly and as normal as before.

Thanks for the post @Mrjeff1. We need all the help we can get to recognize the cause of symptoms. Occasionally someone here gets one right and Miss Carolyn throws them an Attaboy.
