1993 Buick Park Avenue wouldn’t start after serpentine belt change

My 93 Park Avenue Ultra broke the serpentine belt and put the temperature into the red I pulled into a O’Reilly’s and changed the serpentine only to find that the car would not start and stay running could it have jumped timing

Remove the belt and check if the engine will run without it, if so check if the alternator or any of the other pulleys have seized.

Depending on how long the engine was run in the red, the engine many now be damaged from overheating - bad head gasket, warped head and more.
