1992 Mazda 929 CD changer won’t work

A friend used my nearly pristine 1992 Mazda 929
to jump start their car and now my once great Panasonic stereo system wit 6-CD changers does not turn on (work). Could they have blown the relay switch / fuse or did this action short circuit the stereo system? If I need for it to be looked at, can you recommend a company west of Boston? I appreciate your time.

It could very well be the problem. Your owners manual will show where the likely fuse or fuses are and you can check them yourself. Just replace like with like - if the fuse says 5 use a 5 and not a 10!
