Whenever i drive my 1992 318i and turn it off i step out of the car and notice a strong smell of wax. It’s been occurring for the last 2 months. The car has been in my family since 1992 and has had no major accidents.
Any idea what is causing the wax odor?? Is this serious?
Sweet odor? Could be a minor antifreeze leak although this happens more often inside with a small heater core leak.
could be a plastic bag that has stuck to the exhaust,and is melting when the exhaust gets hot,that would make a smell like that.
