Stuck hood strut. Stuck in the closed position, at the hinge. Driver side only. Car has been sitting for a few years, with the hood closed.

If the hinge is stuck open it as far as you can and spray penetrating oil on the hinge pins. Worknthe hood up and down. If that doesn’t free it, unbolt the hood and work to free the hinge or replace it.
