I have tilt steering and the column is tight but where it tilts its loose and whobles wanna no if i can titan it up or if i got to get a new one if it can be fix howe do i get to the part i need to titan
It may be able to be tightened up. First you need to remove steering wheel then remove the lock steering plate . now you should be able to look down inside the column and see the 4 bolt heads I believe they are torx on that tighten them up and that should take care of it .If not that bearing can be replaced . This problem is usually caused by just pulling tilt lever and allowing wheel to go up without resistance .
