hello, i have a serious problem with my car. Ireplaced my water pump in my car because it was leaking coolant and over heating- so i fixed that. Now when i was on my way to work today coolant started leaking in to the floor boards, WHY? Help me please
Coolant leaking onto the floor indicates a leak in the heater core.
yep, that’s about the only place for coolant in the passenger compartment comes from.
Make sure you’re using the right coolant, no green stuff…
Might be a good time to check for a head gasket problem. Overheating could cause a head gasket to give up a bit which in turn may cause the heater core to start leaking; especially on a going on 23 year old car.
