1982 Lincoln Continental Mark VI hidden headlamps, what does R.P.O. mean?

In regards to the headlamp covers and vacuum system, there are two ways the 3 vacuum hoses hook up to the light switch.

1. The “STANDARD” way shows all 3 vacuum hoses hooking into the back of the light switch.

2. The other way is labeled “R.P.O. AUTOLAMP” and shows two vacuum hoses going to the back of the light switch with 3 others going to a solenoid and valve assembly.

My question: What does R.P.O. stand for.
