What is the best way to keep header heat away from your fire wall.
Wrap the header tube with header wrap. It is available in 2 inch rolls that you wrap aroung the tube in the area you want to insulate. It is best to remove the header first. There are stainless steel tie wraps to secure the wrap. You can also use stsinless safety wire as well.
