I have a 1970 cadi convertible my speedometer cable is off I’m wondering will it work without the cruise control canle
Why not just have the speedometer cable replaced , that could keep you from getting a very expensive ticket in a school zone.

Which speedo cable are you talking about? The lower cable runs from the transmission to the cruise control servo on the left fender well. The upper speedo cable runs from the cruise servo through the firewall to the speedometer.
If the lower cable is broken, the cause is often that the cruise servo has seized.
You can bypass the cruise servo and run one cable from the trans to the speedo.
My lower cable is the one Thts broken the cruise cable is not there so if I put a new lower cable my speedometer will start working
What do you mean the cruise cable is not there? There are 2 cables and they both connect to the cruise. One from the transmission to the cruise and one from the cruise to the speedometer.
If the lower cable is broken at the end that connects to the cruise then there’s a chance the cruise servo is broken too.
