What is the points gap and the dwell setting on a 1966 Ford Mustang 6 cyl., 200 hp, 3 speed? Sorry about the year I listed below. Your list does not go back far enough.
Sometimes libraries will have older Chilton manuals in their reference section. If you can’t find the info online.
Distributor point gap = .025"
Dwell angle 37-42 degrees.
Nice nevada I was thinking it was .18 for gap only from memory, but a reminder to op dwell angle is much more accurate than point gap, and timing gets thrown into the mix also. Cam grease is also important to prevent point chatter, and condenser replacement used to come standard with a kit.
