I have a 03 Toyota Matrix that has a small problem that I am not sure how to fix or if the problem can be fixed. The factory radio screen where the time and station is displayed had gone partly out. The left side is no longer lit making it impossible to see the hour or the leading digits on a radio station. Is it possible and easy to replace this lamp and how does one get access to them? Or do I need to replace the radio to fix this problem.

The cheapest solution may be to go onto ebay and purchase a used Matrix radio and change the unit out.
