Kia Sedona 2002 I installing a new timing belt evelything look good but on the back side (the tensioner side) how much tension should be in the belt, I doing this at home so no dealship tools to check the tenison.
The engine has a hydraulic auto-tensioner.
Once you’re sure all the slack in the timing belt is on the tensioner side, pull the pin on the auto-tensioner, start the engine and oil pressure adjusts the tension on the timing belt.
