Cars are mostly empty space, made to be light and have lots of glass. Also, garages are normally placed at the periphery of a house. Lacking a basement, the center of a home is safer than on the edge. If you want to hide in a vehicle during a tornado, make sure it’s a Stryker or a Bradley.
