Night vision is NOT something to take lightly (pardon the pun). My mother-in-laws nigh vision got so bad we had to take her license away because as long as she had a license she was determined to drive at night.
My left eye was almost blind and I didn;t even realize it. My right eye, which was my “good eye”, I now realize has considerable night blindness. The difference now between my right and left eyes at night is dramatic.
I don’t mean to “harp on” the OP about this, but my eyes have just been opened to the significance of this problem (pardon the pun).
