1971 cad the wiper control will not work when turned on to variouse speed but will work on the wiper washer intermitten chrome bottom found on the same lever as the sdeed contro if found any idea thanks Ronny

the wiper control lever on the steering lever wont turn on the wipers the only thing that works is if the chrome push button on same lever which controls washer an intermitten is pushed forward
