Today’s program had a caller with a Windstar with creaking front end. T&R suggested tie rod ends or ball joints
I have just gone through this with a Caravan. It was a wheel bearing, very bad scene developed over a short period of time. Suggest you contact the caller and have bearings checked before they die or get stranded in some unfortunate place.
To be more specific, the creaking occurred over several months, the bearing disintegrated crossing a long bridge with no shoulder to pull over.
