I just had the windshield of y 99 Honda CRV replaced. The outer glass is no longer flush to the car. The receipt indicates a rain channel molding. It seems very strange to not have a flush windshield. It this OK?
After checking the windshield fit on the oposite side, does it appaer to be a mistake on the part of the installer or not?
(Regardless of the receipt) Go back to the shop.
I wouls take steps to correct this as there is a chance (however serious or minimal) the windshield could pop out or even shatter after hitting a hard bump.
Of course it could very well leak in a carwash or rainstorm.
