My car windows frost/ice up as soon as I open the door on cold morning Have only had this happen after moving where I do not have a garage or carport. It’s very difficult scraping the inside windows!

Yes, my question is can this icing/frosting up be prevented? My car is actually a G6 GT if that makes any difference. Thanks
There really isn’t anything you can do to prevent it. I spent 45 years driving in the midwest without a heated garage. You can warm up the car in the driveway with the defroster on at startup. The ac will run and dry out the air, the heat will clear the glass.
Thank you so much for responding. Am very disappointed that there is nothing to do to prevent it. I moved to a retirement community several months ago so have no other options.
