When the temperature drops below freezing, the windshield of my car freezes on the inside. It gets so bad I have to scrape the ice off when I stop at red lights. the windshield de-fogger doesn’t help at all (or I may not be using it properly)
what is wrong with my car that it frosts on the inside?
Next time check the air coming out (or not) of the de-fogger vents.
Is it warm (after the engine is warmed up, of course)?
Model year?
Odometer mileage?
Has there been a lot of snow in your area recently?
Have you checked the level of your coolant lately?
Is there an unusual odor when you turn on the heater or defroster?

a friend thought that the seal around the window is broken. I don’t know what that means, does it make any sense?
Look under the rugs and other low points for water pooling.
In the defrost mode the AC system is used to dry out the air inside the passenger compartment. Check the AC mode control and make sure it isn’t set to ‘Recirculate’.
