Why the "hate" for quicky lube places

I found these employee incentive/promotional programs to be a distraction from doing the work. Perhaps one man would upsell 3 cars worth of work but he could not do it all so one of the cars were sent to another mechanic. You would think that things could be split up like this (with one man’s upsells being sent to another man to complete) but this is the path taken for a problem repair. One guy sells a belt and the second guy does not agree the belt needs changing and it turns into a mess.
