I have a '99 5spd Ford Escort zx2. I have only noticed this happening when coming down to a slower speed, but ill be driving along and my car will just die. it will crank back up, but it’s bugging me because when it dies, it usually in a turn or curve and the steering naturally get hard to turn once the engine dies… I have no clue what is making it do this, if you know please help!!
I would not hurt to check and see if there are any error codes stored in the computer. Some auto part stores will check it for free. Try you local Autozone or Advanced Auto Parts.
