A week ago I start my car and the radio started to whisper (at full crank of the dail), instead of normal volum. By the way; I haven’t done anything differentally to the car at all, it runs great.
Is it because the radio is on it’s way out? The car is 16 years old, but it only has 140K miles.
I would also be concerned with shorted speaker wiring, any hacking going on here?
No hacking, all stocked equipments. Turned the FADE and BALANCE knobs but couldn’t really tell where could be a shorted speaker wiring…
Perhaps a connection at one of the speakers is shorting out. You could pull the radio and bench test it, that is what I would do, then you have control over all.
