Which 2000 VW Passat should we keep?

My husband and I both have 2000 VW Passats, and we are planning to replace one of them with a new car - but we can’t decide which one to keep. My Passat is a 4-cylinder turbo GLS with 120K miles, and his is a 6-cylinder GLX with 85K miles. We originally thought it was a no-brainer to keep his car but recently we’ve had to do some major repairs on it.

Any advice on which one to keep? Within the past three years, major repairs on my car include replacing inner tie rods and inner/outer tie rod ends, one oxygen sensor, and the ABS sensor and control module, and fixing a coolant leak, and my car also uses about 1 quart of oil a month (no oil leaks though). Major repairs on my husband’s car over the past three years include replacing the catalytic converters, the ABS control unit, the EGR valve gasket and valve cover gasket, 2 oxygen sensors, the CV boots, the ABS control unit, the coolant temp sensor, and the brake light switch.
