I have drained my wife’s 1999 Subaru Forester of automatic transmission fluid. But I cannot figure out where it pours in, I can only find the dipstick. I’ve located the power steering fluid cap,brake fluid cap, and oil cap. Sorry I’m having one of those days…Help appreciated.
You insert a funnel in the tranny dipstick tube and add the fluid.

If I may make a gentle suggestion, never drain anything until you’re sure you’ll be able to fill it up. (This especially applies to components with fill plugs and drain plugs, where you want to be sure the fill plug will come out first.)
