When to check 1999 Lincoln Town Car’s oil?

Once a week, before starting car for the fist time that day.

Every saturday or sunday morning, before you head to the grocery store, church, etc.

this is also the time to check tire pressures, coolant level, top off the washer bottle, etc.

I check the oil once a week unless I am traveling, in which case I check the oil at every gasoline stop. Maybe this is overkill, but I remember the old days of carburetors where the gasoline that wasn’t burned would dilute the oil and the engine might burn off a quart in the first couple hundred miles when the car hit the highway after having been driven around town.
