i have had 5 wheel bearings replaced on a 2000 forester; like the car except for this expensive issue
what has subaru done to fix this; am considering trading in for a 2010 model
Wheel bearing failure was common in that vintage Forester. It was alleviated in the early 2000’s.
5 times over seems like something else was going on like poorly designed aftermarket parts or unrevised Subaru parts.
I would visit a Subaru Forester specific forum. I know my family with 4 Foresters with 150k-210k only a 1999 has had the issue.
