Wheel alignment vs,other issue

I recently was told that my 2004 Toyota Highlander rear tires are worn vs. front tires are Ok. These tires have 20,00 miles on them. Would this be totally due to needing a wheel alignment or some other issue? I was told that the wear is happening in the inside of the tire…

Thank you…

I would start with 4 wheel alignment first. A good alignment specialist will also inspect the suspension to make sure everything is operating correctly.

I agree with jayhawkroy. Do you carry a lot of weight in the Highlander? Wear on the inside usually indicates a heavy load.

Do you rotate the tire??
