I have a 2000 Chevy Malibu 85,000 miles and 1994 Toyota Camry 135,000 miles. The Malibu has an engine tick. Assuming all else equal and same maintenance to both, which do I keep?
With 6 years difference and this your only choice, safety with a newer model and newer body make the obvious choice. Keep the Malibu, even if it needs repair. Personally, I’d sell both and get a newer Camry, but that’s not your question.
Which one do you prefer? Keep it.
