why with 28 Fahrenheit when i pump full my fuel tank up my fuel meter won’t go up and after 2minute the meter go up little bit and take 2 minute to go all up. why.
My Camry and Corolla have very slow fuel gauges. I think it’s to keep the gauges more accurate with the gas sloshing around.
The slow response time is intentional. “Damping” is designed into the system to keep the gage stable as the fuel sloshes and as it moves to one side of the tank when turning right and the other side when turning left. A few minutes slow response time is normal. And intentional.
