When I look in my local paper for used cars, just before the number to call is the word “Others” I’ve looked this up on the internet to no avail, except to come to the conclusion that’s it’s a type of car. One site in Australia gave me a search option for “Used Other Cars”
Any ideas, anyone?

Most likely the number that you will be calling is actually a dealership, and the word “others” indicates that they have other cars, besides the one that is listed, for sale. Some dealerships like to operate in a stealth mode in order to appear to be a private seller, rather than a dealership.
I agree with the above interpretation. The word should mean merely that “other cars are available.”
It might also refer to car brands that aren’t under other headings. There might be a heading for Toyota, but not Ferrari. It’s hard to tell without seeing the paper or web site.
